Good. I didn't really want you anyway

And we thought we had already elected an idiot.

Fred Thompson decides to tell a Fox News correspondent that, in essence, he doesn't expect to be president.

Trying to encourage his studio to hurry up so an interview could start, Carl Cameron of Fox News said into his microphone: "The next president of the United States has a schedule to keep." Standing beside him, a deadpan Mr Thompson interjected: "And so do I."

As some Thompson aides looked bemused and others cringed, a taken-aback Mr Cameron, Fox's chief political correspondent, exclaimed: "You can't do that kind of stuff!"

Can I get a round of applause?

I like how the Fox correspondent was genuinely upset, since his stupid channel decided to basically throw all of their support behind the actor/politician.

Full Story here.

I hope Gore and Thompson get nominated.

The media spin on how Thompson "wins" the debates would be spectacular.

"Thompson DOMINATED these debates. Did you see how he failed to answer any question intelligently? He's showing us that he is an idiot, just like over half the country. Way to relate bro!"

yes...but most of the mis-information comes from the other end:

"Gore came off as a know-it-all when he corrected Thompson about the Iran as Sunni comment he made."

"Gore looked terribly wonkish when he cited that congressional legislation."

"Gore looks out of touch when he cites so much scientific data."

Good call...

"Gore proved he could not related to the American people when he personally found the cure for AIDS and solved the War in Iraq."

Interesting....
